Eagerly anticipated by the music,the fans,and the will to survive in the music industry,Inducedhaze drummer John Hodge' level for success could'nt be higher,with his insights being very essential to the bands elevated status. Going back to the year 1989,when the band originally formed in the small town of Tuscaloosa,Alabama,the remaining members of Inducedhaze proclaim it's all been a valuable lesson taught,and learned.The drummer states,"Looking back,we all went through a so called whirlwind of up's and downs,discretely seperated the professional musician from the amatuer.It mostly seemed that rock n' roll was starting to feel as a magical illusion of colour sound,and spotlights.I guess I always looked deeper for insight,anticipation,and determination.I always felt it could all produce more than what I witnessed,and was a part of for so many years". The modern drummer would then soon find himself,searching for the missing link,the spark that once was the inner core of the band.Hodge almost always would find himself alone,and away from the rest of the other band members of Haze,working,and experimenting with new ideas for the band,and the music. It was as if the creativity was'nt as strong as it once was before,and the desire for fame and fortune,had lessened because we all had worked ourselves onto the ground.That bringing the members of Haze to drift apart from the band,eachother,their families,and also themselves. The chemistry started to lose it's potency,(a prime example),Like a tumbleweed drifting off to nowhere.Hodge replies,"At the same time,there became a point in my life,that the band and it's commitments,were taking complete control of my life.I needed to get back on my own two feet,back on solid ground.I never left the music,I left the band". Currently seventeen years later, HAZE is reforming to carry on the Name,the band, the dream, and the love of music,which is the inner soul,and core of Inducedhaze.Hodge states,"It was as if we had never stoped,you just never know where it can go from here". I give much graditude to God above, for the gift of musical ability, and talent, and to which the blessing it brings. Living the dream, and expression through music with INDUCEDHAZE has been years of hard work, living, and growing, and an unbelievable roller coaster ride, emotionally, and physically, with many memories and stories that have stamped my life in incredible ways. Many thanks to my family, my kids, my parents, the friends, the fans, and teachers, all to which have kept faith in me, and pushed me along, to make this dream become a reality. ClicGrowing up, Fondren was surrounded by many great music artist. After being exposed to a number of performances through the years, Fondren grew a love for music, which only grew stronger over time. After applying many hours and time through the years on several stringed instruments, his love was found on bass. Highly energetic, and explosive sound, in which Fondren produced, gained him many great opportunities musically. Being a part of INDUCEDHAZE is just another way for Fondren to express his ability musically, he states, " I finalized my search, and feel that working with the other members of INDUCEDHAZE has not only brought me great friendship, but a bond musically that I've seeked for many years". Being influenced by artist such as, Cliff Burton, Les Claypool, Leon Wilkeson, Victor Wooten, and many more, the road Fondren has chosen to travel through his journey in the music industry is only getting longer, and with many opportunities to experience along the way.
